Mary Meidinger, LPC
I have been providing counseling services in the St Louis area since January, 1992. I opened my private practice in October, 1994. I earned a Master’s of Education and am a Licensed Professional Counselor. Prior to entering the counseling profession, I worked in business management for several years.
I have a wide experience working with individuals, couples and families, as well as extensive experience working with individuals and families affected by autism, and juveniles who are involved with the state juvenile justice system. I also did assessment for special education and gifted child identification for 12 years in the public school system.
I have utilized my own experience in business management to assist individuals with career decisions, and creating plans for a range of challenges including working in difficult environments, or to setting a course for advancement.
I served on the Citizen’s Advisory Council for the Missouri Department of Mental Health Psychiatric Services Division. I completed Partners in Policymaking advocacy training for individuals with disabilities through the Department’s Division of Developmental Disabilities. I have completed 20 hours of postgraduate training in the neuropsychology of learning. she belongs to the American Mental Health Counseling Association. My certifications include Telehealth and Anxiety.
